In the first half of 2018, about 244W of new photovoltaic equipments were installed and 19 GW of new photovoltaic equipments were exported.

China Photovoltaic Industry Association organized a seminar in Beijing on "Review of the development of photovoltaic industry in the first half of 2018 and outlook for the second half of 2018" (July 26, 2018).

 

Director Wang Weiwei, Department of Electronics, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Director Wang has made four suggestions on the development of photovoltaic industry.

 

First, photovoltaic industry as a new industry, there are some ups and downs are normal, or to be full of hope, the central government's determination to support the development of photovoltaic industry in China has not changed.

Second, enterprises need to practice their internal skills well, and they still rely on their own hard work to strike iron.

Third, China's photovoltaic industry should be viewed from the overall situation of Sino-US trade disputes.

Fourth, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will upgrade the standard conditions of photovoltaics in the near future to promote the survival of the fittest.

 

Xiong Minfeng, Director of the New Energy Department of the State Energy Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Director Xiong summarized the development of photovoltaic industry in China in the last half year, and put forward relevant suggestions for the industry and enterprises in the next development direction of photovoltaic industry in China.

 

Director Xiong said that China's photovoltaic industry has made tremendous achievements, and the State Energy Administration firmly supports the development of the photovoltaic industry. However, in the new stage of photovoltaic installation has reached 150 GW, the development of our industry should shift from heavy scale to improving quality and efficiency. We should give full play to the ubiquitous advantages of solar energy, vigorously develop and utilize near-by, promote the absorption of clean energy, and adhere to quality first. Next, the Energy Bureau will continue to make efforts in leading base development, photovoltaic poverty alleviation, affordable online demonstration, distributed market-oriented transactions and other aspects to promote the healthy development of the photovoltaic industry.

 

Wang Bohua, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Photovoltaic Industry Association, made a brilliant review of the development of China's photovoltaic industry in the first half of 2008 and made a prospect for the development situation in the second half of 2008.
